Long Service awards are issued to our long serving employees as a 'thank you' for their commitment and loyalty. Rewards are given for achieving important long service milestone between 10 and 45 years. Employees celebrating 25 years and every 5 years thereafter are also invited to attend a VIP long service lunch to celebrate with their colleagues and all members of the DPD Board.Retirement

Company Induction
We offer a comprehensive induction programme for all new starters. This can be from between two to eight weeks in duration.Driver CPC training
We offer full training to all 7.5 tonne and linehaul drivers to comply with european legislation introduced in September 2009.On-the-job training
Depots and departments have 'On the Job Trainers' who deliver training to all employees within DPD. This training covers elements such as changes to processes and updates on new DPD initiatives.E-learning
We offer e-learning to employees within DPD. Our current modules include, Internal Quality Audits, Health & Safety and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).Management development
We offer development programmes across all levels of management within DPD. This is delivered through our award winning Management Development Programme and our Executive Development Programme.Further education support
Our Further Education Policy supports any employee who wishes to undertake a qualification that is related to their role. This support covers, time off for exams, study leave and is fully funded by the company. -

Warehouse Career Start
Warehouse Career Start is a two-day induction programme specifically designed for Warehouse Operatives.During the induction, new employees will be provided with the knowledge and tools required to successfully complete tasks relevant to their role and shift.
The courses are run locally which provides the opportunity for employees to contribute and add their experience to support the content of the programme.

Community Fund
The DPDgroup UK Community Fund allows us to support a wide range of local charities and communities that are close to our people's heart.
We raise money in all the usual ways, and the company matches all money raised for the Community Fund pound for pound.
So far we have supported many fantastic causes, pledging over £150,000 to match the money raised by our people.
