DPD App FAQs

This page provides answers to questions you may have about the DPD app. You can also let us know if you have any issues or just give us some feedback.

• What does this app do?

  • Create a secure profile that is locked to your mobile device and uses your mobile phone number and / or email address for verification.
  • Add delivery preferences that are used every time you have a delivery.
  • Parcel tracking is presented automatically without the need to manually track using parcel numbers. Parcels are matched to your mobile phone number or email address and your delivery address.
  • Parcels that are delivered by DPD UK or DPD Local are shown.
  • In-flight options are made available so you can choose to change delivery to a neighbour, pay for an upgrade, leave safe or send to a DPD Pickup shop.

• How do I create a profile?

  Enter your mobile phone number or email address, and a secure code will be sent to your phone or email account.
  Enter the code into the app and your secure profile will be active.

• Can I change my profile information?

  Yes.
  Proceed to the main menu and select ‘Settings’ and then ‘View/Update your profile’. You can then change your profile information. You can also add in your mobile phone number or email address if you didn’t for the initial registration.

• Can I add more than one mobile number or email address?

  No.
  You can only associate one mobile phone number and one email address with your profile.

• Can I add more than one delivery address to my profile?

  Yes.
  Proceed to the main menu and select ‘Settings’ and click on ‘Add new address’.

• Can I change the preferences?

  Yes.
  Proceed to the main menu and select ‘Settings’ and then select the address for which you want to change the preferences.
  

• Can I delete my profile?

  Yes.
  Proceed to the main menu and select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Delete my profile’.

• Why is my parcel not displayed?

  When you made your purchase, you may have used a mobile phone number or email address that is not associated with your DPD app profile. You can change the mobile phone number and email address for your profile if you proceed to the main menu, select ‘Settings’ and then ‘View/Update your profile’.
  
  You will required to verify your details before the change becomes active.

  You can find information about your delivery here or you can contact the sender of your parcel.

• How can I leave feedback or report a problem?

  If you need to contact us, click on any parcel, scroll down and click on the 'call' or 'chat' options. As an App user you will go to the front of the queue and we'll deal with your query as soon as possible.
